Larry Joos

Mr. Joos graduated from Bloom Carroll School in 1967 and has been a resident of Greenfield Township for many years.  He and his wife built their home on Election House Road in 1983 where they raised three children, all of whom graduated from Bloom Carroll School.  Larry served the people of Greenfield Township as a Firefighter-EMT for 18 years. 

Goals:

• Improve our roads and make them safer
  
• Help our Fire Department grow stronger and become better trained, so they can meet the challenges of today and tomorrow 
  
• Collaborate with community leaders in the area to make the township a better and safer place to live and raise a family

George Hallarn

Mr. Hallarn is self-employed and a life-long resident of the township.  He was first elected in 1998, and is currently serving his third term.  He is past president of the Fairfield County Trustees and Clerks Association, member of the Carroll Old Timers Association, and has served as President of the Bloom Carroll Alumni Association since 1988.

John Reef, Sr.

Mr. Reef is a lifetime resident of Greenfield Township who was raised on the family farm on Ginder Road and graduated from Carroll High School.  He and his wife Lou Ellen have been married 48 years and have three grown sons.

Now retired, John's experience includes managing the work crews and the several million dollar budget of the Mechanical Engineering Department at Nationwide Insurance, owning his own plumbing business, and farming.  He has served Greenfield Township in the past as a Volunteer Fire Fighter, Zoning Board and Zoning Appeals Board Member, and as a member of the Fire Department’s Citizens Advisory Board.

"My retirement leaves me free to devote the time necessary to be an involved, responsible Trustee."

Goals:

• Ensure that township tax dollars are spent wisely and residents are not subjected to over regulation
• Prioritize income and expenses so that basic services are met for the safety and well being of residents
