The Road Department is responsible for the maintenance of
township roads, which consist of all the roads except state highways
and county roads.
The Road Department has the equipment needed to handle the worst
of Ohio’s winters. The department prides itself on being able to
maintain safe road conditions throughout the winter season.
Some of the services which the Road Department provides are
repair of roads with hot mix asphalt and cold patch, crack sealing,
asphalt rejuvenation of paved roads, chip and seal, berming,
roadside ditch cleaning and grading, snowplowing, sign maintenance,

Any installation of pipe or other structure within the
right-of-way, other than a driveway culvert, requires permission,
which can be obtained by contacting the Road Superintendent.
The standard condition at the roadside is an open drainage ditch.
Anyone wishing to eliminate the ditch by installing underground
piping must obtain permission from the Road Superintendent.
